Join us for an ‘open microphone’ discussion about where your future digital career may take you.  Healthcare is a very diverse and expanding sector and digital healthcare is now essential to the efficient and effective functioning of the sector.

HISA is Australia's digital health community.  At this event you will have the opportunity of networking with other members of WA's digital health community and the HISA WA Committee.

You will hear from HISA WA committee member Joshua Sacks, Telehealth Strategy & Operations Co-ordinator who will give a brief introductory overview of his career journey so far and how he is now ‘leading the charge’ on delivering a cohesive telehealth strategy throughout the South Metropolitan Health Service.  Josh has not only taken up challenging new opportunities, but has succeeded in delivering digital healthcare.

You will hear how digital health is a dynamic profession and how it is, in some respects, ‘forming as it moves’, allowing enthusiastic, motivated individuals to carve out very interesting careers, in many interesting and changing situations.

Come prepared with your questions about opportunities, as we will have broad discussions focused on what we see emerging during the next 2-5 years around potential career pathways for younger people and indeed, any others who wish to transition in their careers.

With thanks to the South Metropolitan TAFE for their support.
