Jane Austin Director, Health Performance Council Linked In

Jane has over 25 years' experience in the health care system, specialising in health policy and strategy development and implementation, performance measurement, project management and analysis. She started work as a Physiotherapist and added postgraduate training in Public Health. Until 2011, she worked for NSW Health and NHS (England), and since has settled in South Australia firstly working for Commonwealth Health and for almost four years as Director of the Health Performance Council Secretariat.


Sanjeev Khurana Peadiatrics Surgeon, Women's and Children's Hospital

Sanjeev is a Paediatrics Surgeon and a cofounder of Data Dissect Pty Ltd - an Adelaide based start-up that develops 'Learning Healthcare Systems'.

Sanjeev and his colleagues have successfully demonstrated the utility of a learning healthcare system approach in improving the care of children with acute appendicitis and are now deploying this approach in other surgical realms.


Wendy Keech CEO, Health Translation SA Linked In

Wendy Keech is CEO of Health Translation SA, one of the first four Advanced Health Research and Translation Centre’s, recognised by the NHMRC in Australia in 2015. Wendy commenced in this role in February 2018.

Prior to this she spent 4 years in the Wardliparingga Aboriginal Research Unit at the South Australian Health and Medical Research Institute (SAHMRI) where she was the Executive Officer of the SA Aboriginal Chronic Disease Consortium and Senior Research Translation Manager.

Prior to that she had been Director of Cardiovascular Health for 11 years with leadership responsibilities in state and national initiatives. She has a strong background in research, strategic planning, implementation and evaluation, prevention, public health, Aboriginal health, cardiovascular disease, physical activity, sports injuries, tobacco control and nutrition.


Tina Hardin Executive Director, Clinical Informatics Linked In

Tina Hardin is the Executive Director, Clinical Informatics for the newly established Commission on Excellence and Innovation in Health. She is a future thinking data analyst with a passion for using data and technology to inform excellence in clinical care.

Tina has worked with data for almost 20 years in health. She has led a range of business intelligence projects and represented SA Health on various state and national committees.

She is looking forward to using her skills and experience to deliver a clinical informatics program that will help improve the health of South Australians.
